OEM/ODM — Custom engineering and trusted execution
Custom development

Turn a requirement into a validated OEM / ODM product.

Custom work is easier when branding changes, threshold settings and structural changes are clearly separated. This page is designed to help buyers understand which requests are straightforward, which need engineering confirmation and which may require new tooling, samples or validation rounds.

BrandingThreshold settingsPlug structureTooling scope

Voltage Customization

110V, 120V, 127V, 220V, 230V and 240V versions based on target markets.

Plug & Socket Standards

US, UK, EU, Brazil, South Africa, Thailand, Middle East and custom standards.

Brand & Packaging

Logo, color, blister card, box, manual and multilingual packaging support.

Function Definition

Delay time, protection threshold, surge level, current rating and indicator options.

Sample to Bulk

Prototype, sample confirmation, pilot batch and stable mass delivery.

Channel Support

Product copy, model matrix, carton labels and distributor-ready documentation.

CUSTOMIZATION BOUNDARIES

Not every OEM request has the same cost, lead time or risk.

A clear boundary between cosmetic, electrical and structural changes prevents an “easy customization” promise from becoming a tooling problem later.

Usually simpler

Brand and document changes

  • logo and model naming;
  • box, blister card and carton mark;
  • manual and label language;
  • sales sheet and product matrix.
Engineering review

Electrical parameter changes

  • voltage threshold and recovery range;
  • delay logic and display behavior;
  • relay/current configuration;
  • surge components and indicator logic.
May require tooling

Structural changes

  • new plug/socket geometry;
  • internal metal parts and terminals;
  • PCB or enclosure layout;
  • new mould, sample and validation cycle.
PROJECT GATES

What should be agreed before bulk production.

Written confirmation matters more than a long chat history. The confirmed sample, specification sheet and packaging artwork should point to the same version.

01Project briefMarket, load, electrical problem, target price and annual estimate.
02Change classificationStandard, cosmetic, electrical or structural.
03Sample recordParameters, BOM-sensitive items, appearance and test notes.
04Pilot reviewAssembly, testing, packaging and field-use concerns.
05ReleaseFinal artwork, shipment checks and approved production version.
